About Me
She is a journalist, filmmaker, and writer currently living in Paris, where she works as a cultural journalist for ARTE , a national French-German TV channel. She produces short documentaries for their show “Tracks” dedicated to subcultures and underground communities. She contributes to Le Bondy Blog , an award-winning blog that focuses on social issues in the French suburbs. Additionally, she is a regular contributor to Dune Magazine , where she writes about North African arts and representation in the media. She began her career at France 24 , covering breaking news from Africa to North America.
She has produced an independent documentary between Turkey and Egypt, focusing on community resilience under the pandemic, for which she earned an award from the UNESCO Center for Peace. Beyond her activities as a journalist, in 2021, she founded ARTSCHIVES , a collective dedicated to artistic and educational programming that actively promotes the narratives of diasporas as a catalyst for social change. This is achieved through exhibitions, film screenings, and residencies.
Now, returning to the beginning, she is Moroccan and grew up between Italy, France, and the United States. After studying political science and development studies at La Sorbonne, she attended the New York University Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.
